History

1982

Global Engineers was founded as a proprietary concern by Dr. G.M. Gupta, a mechanical engineer and scientist having over 60 years of national & international experience as on date. Over the years and under his leadership, Global Engineers leaped forward in terms of turnover, profits and latest technologies.

Global Engineers started by manufacturing Punched Tape Concertina Coil, a revolutionary product at that time, which was used by the Indian Army to create an effective barrier at Indo-Pak border in Punjab in order to successfully wipe out cross border terrorism prevalent during the years 1983 -1985. The President of India honoured our founder by conferring a National Award on the company in the year 1986 for this outstanding achievement.

1986

The company diversified in the field of fully automatic surface treatment and finishing plants including effluent treatment as a part of import substitution for Indian Ordnance Factories and Railways. Over the years, the company became number one supplier to Indian Ordnance Factories, Railways, Army & Department of Atomic Energy. Our founder was once again honoured with a national award in the year 1987.

The company continued its upward journey by undertaking development of special purpose machines (SPM) for several diversified customers. Our founder was successively honoured for his extraordinary efforts and was conferred upon several state awards in years 1985, 86, 87, 88 & 91.

1993

The company was converted into a Limited company and set-up one of the largest and state of the art equipment manufacturing facility near Delhi.

In the same year the company joined hands with world renowned technology partner M/s Josef Meissner GmbH, Germany and successfully executed a project in Indonesia for setting up a plant to manufacture Carboxymethyl Cellulose which is widely used in Food, Pharmaceutical and Oil & Gas Industry.

2006

The company further diversified in the field of turnkey projects for Explosives & Propellants manufacturing plants and have been successfully executing large contracts for Ordnance Factories at Nalanda, Bhandara & Khamaria (Jabalpur) with world leading technology partners such as M/s Bowas Induplan Chemie, Austria & M/s Josef Meissner, Germany.

Today, the company has evolved from a simple punched tape concertina manufacturing unit to an Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Manufacturing (EPCM) Enterprise embarking on much larger and complex projects while on a path to further grow its legacy.
